In the last year, our members have had the chance to enjoy some of the following activities:
- Hikes
Bowling- Abseiling
- Exploring
- Learning to help others
- Campfires
- Crafts
- Work towards activity badges
- Visits to local places of interest
and much much more!
We aim to give the Beavers a full programme that allows them to develop all their skills and have lots of FUN!
Parents and carers often get the opportunity to join in too!

Beavers meet early on Thursday evenings for the 6 - 8 year olds.
We take up to 24 Young People, the maximum for a Beaver Scout Colony.
We hope to give every young erson the chance to join scouting but unfortunately demand for places is very high at the moment and we have a waiting list. If you wish to join the waiting list please complete the Membership form on the Downloads page and email it too Beaver Lightening. We will call you when we have a place avialable. If you are able to travel we can forward your enquiry to the Scout district for any Scout Group that has spaces. Please just mention this in your email.
